For glass elevators not only the functionality but also design is important. The interior designers of yachts use the glass elevator as the eye catcher in lobby. Working together with these designers we have the opportunity to incorporate new technologies with which their spectacular designs can be realized. The requirements on mega yachts concerning the engineering and finish of equipment are very high. Not only are our products of a high technical quality, also the finish of the products is according the mega yacht standards. No yachts are alike and they all are something special. Available space is even less than on other kind of ships. The location of the elevator machine room of our elevators is very flexible, on top, adjacent or below the trunk. Even an elevator without a machine room is possible so the elevator can be positioned almost everywhere on the ship. The demands made upon marine lifts are very special as anyone acquainted with the sea can imagine. A ship is almost always in motion, the direction and rhythm of the motion continuously changing. Vessel movement, vibration, fire proofing, escape routes and cable assembly all demand special requirements for safety and functioning. Our glass elevators are fully adjusted to these influences.
